Tawis

Tawis is the fourth-generation grandfather of a merchant in Jaelot. Having made his fortune in smuggling, his estate hugs the outer wall of the city.

Third Age 5670: When Arithon and Fionn Areth escape from Jaelot, they pass through this estate to reach the city walls. Finding the hidden door into the estate rusted shut, Arithon remarks that Tawis did not pass his penchant for smuggling on to his grandchildren.
