Third Age 5671: Arithon performs before the s'Brydion brothers to warn them of Lysaer's attack on Alestron. Sindelle and the other wives are present as part of Dame Dawr's plan to distract the men and allow Arithon to be heard.
Third Age 5671: After Keldmar is killed by an attack of Light, Tiassa makes the rounds to comfort the bereaved families of the fallen garrison when Sindelle is too overcome to do so. When Dakar, Elaira, and Sidir arrive in Alestron, Sindelle, Liesse, and Sevrand join Duke Bransian for the interrogation. Unable to get Arithon's whereabouts from Dakar, Duke Bransian consents to the mandate of Melhalla's caithdein to allow the trio to convince Jeynsa to leave freely. Following Bransian's hostile move to hold Jeynsa as a hostage, Mearn wonders whether Sindelle was also complicit in the plan.
Sindelle is still alive in the citadel after the sea quarter is breached. Bransian mentions her in one of his last war councils. Towards the end of the siege, Bransian receives warning from Sevrand that a member of the Fellowship is visiting. He gathers the family for an audience at Dame Dawr's quarters. Bransian and Asandir argue over the Duke's methods for defending Alestron. With Parrien facing a felon's death for the attack on Arithon, Bransian finally agrees to relocate his family and army to Atwood to serve under Teiren's'Callient.
