Third Age 5652: Koshlin attends a covert meeting of Lysaer's inner circle where he promises financial support from an unnamed faction in Erdane seeking to overthrow the Fellowship's Compact. In the absence of the Paravians, Koshlin and his supporters feel that mankind should claim rightful use of the land.
Third Age 5654:Koshlin attends the wedding of Lysaer and Ellaine. After word of sabotage reaches the city, he is part of the high council aboard Lysaer's state galley, calling for a seige of Alestron. Lysaer's plan to use the sabotage to his advantage is defanged by by Mearn and Parrien, who appear to have tortured and killed all of the conspirators. He backs down in front of his guild ministers, including Koshlin, who believe the s'Brydion story of shipyard funds lost to clan piracy and are reluctant to pursue war.
After the conspiracy at Riverton, the Cabal of Light hold a clandestine meeting to plot the spread of Light across all five kingdoms. Koshlin suggests that killing clansmen instead of enslaving them would restore trade through Havish's ports.
Third Age 5670: After dodging her questions as much as he can, Koshlin conspires with Cerebeld to give Princess Ellaine incontrovertible proof that Lady Talith was murdered. He delivers the proof with recommendations to burn it after reading.
Third Age 5670: Princess Ellaine smuggles the proof of conspiracy to Havish where she requests sanctuary. Ianfar s'Gannley sees Koshlin's seal on the document and notes that Koshlin has long been a suspected affiliate of a necromancer.
Third Age 5671: Lysaer and Sulfin Evend return to Avenor and find that Koshlin is one of several council members suborned by necromancy. He is arrested for his role in the conspiracy to murder Lady Talith and later dies in Avenor's dungeon, which is incinerated by Lysaer's gift of light during the necromancers' counterattack.
