Third Age 5648: After its theft, the Evenstar is used for legitimate business along the southern coast.
Third Age 5670: Dakar and Fionn Areth arrive in Shipsport (enroute to Tharidor) a month late due to events at Rockfell Pit. They learn that the Evenstar has already resumed its run down the coast, rendering further travel to Tharidor unnecessary.
The Evenstar sails around the coast, arriving at Innish in the summer. Feylind then sails to Telmandir to assist in Havish with the famine. While there, Feylind encounters Princess Ellaine disguised as a slop taker, and offers the Evenstar's cabin for a private audience with King Eldir. After the meeting, Feylind agrees to transport Princess Ellaine to Alestron.
Selidie Prime uses the Great Waystone to locate the Evenstar near the Cascain Islands and reveals that the ship was secretly tagged with a sigil by a chandler who owed a debt of service. She orders the peeress to find someone with an oath of debt that can affix a sigil of tracking while the ship is in Innish. The Evenstar delivers Princess Ellaine into the care of Alestron and departs again with Dakar and Fionn Areth aboard. When Feylind has departed from Alestron, Selidie Prime engages the Great Waystone again to summon fiend storm, drawing Arithon into the fray in defense of the ship. Arithon defends the ship through mage talent and music.
Third Age 5671: In autumn, Feylind and the crew are Vhalzein when she learns of the siege of Alestron. Feylind eventually decides to sail to Havish to petition King Eldir for a relief run to Alestron. King Eldir agrees, contingent on the grounds that the Evenstar take independent responsibility for the delivery. The Evenstar makes port in Innish enroute to Alestron and arrives at Adruin in early winter. After a cargo inspection, the crew stays in town for the night before making the trip up the estuary to Alestron. Nearing the Sea Gate, the Evenstar gives the impression that it is disabled while sending coded signals to Alestron's defenders. Lysaer attacks with Light to prevent the supply from reaching Alestron and Arithon reflexively defends with Shadow. Parrien's war galley is launched to defend the ship and tow it through the Sea Gate, but an Alliance boarding party has already killed most of the crew.
Cattrick orders the ruined ship repaired by his laborers without Duke Bransian's knowledge. They intend to sail the Evenstar into the harbor to cause an explosion around Alliance ships. However, the ship explodes prematurely due to Koriani interference, destroying a weir gate and granting access to the enemy.
