Desert of Sanpashir
The Desert of Sanpashir is an arid black-sand desert in southern Shand, bordering the South Sea. A trade road bounds the northern side, connecting Innish to Atchaz, and finally, Sanshevas. A tribe of desert people, known as the Biedar live here.
The ruins at Sanpashir can be found on the southwestern coast above a cliff head. Inaccessible by road and protected by barrier islets, the ruins sit in the free wilds. Townsfolk avoid the area because of a reputation for haunts. A Paravian focus circle is in the ruins. In the Second Age, the site would have featured white granite with chains of inner courtyards and vast gardens.
